Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercise is a structured, individualized program of movement designed to restore strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and coordination. Unlike general fitness training, therapeutic exercise is prescribed by a physical therapist specifically to address your condition, your stage of healing, and your functional goals progressing in difficulty as your body is ready.
We design every exercise program around the principle of corrective movement: identifying what’s not working, retraining it properly, and then loading it progressively until it becomes strong, automatic, and resilient. The goal isn’t just to feel better in our sessions it’s to give you the tools and the strength to take control of your body long after care ends.
Benefits of Therapeutic Exercise:
- Builds strength in weakened or injured muscles
- Restores flexibility and range of motion
- Improves balance, coordination, and motor control
- Corrects faulty movement patterns
- Reduces the risk of re-injury
- Supports long-term independence and function
