Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a form of soft tissue therapy that uses specialized cups to create vacuum suction on the skin, lifting and decompressing the underlying muscle and fascia. Unlike traditional massage, which presses tissue down, cupping pulls tissue up creating space, increasing blood flow, and releasing tightness in areas that are often difficult to address with hands-on pressure alone.
We use cupping to help patients recover from chronic muscle tension, overuse injuries, and movement restrictions that limit performance and daily function. Sessions are comfortable, well-tolerated, and easily integrated into a broader treatment plan alongside manual therapy and corrective exercise. Patients often notice immediate relief in range of motion and a reduction in muscle tightness after just one session.
Benefits Of Cupping:
- Promotes mobility and range of motion
- Improves blood and lymphatic circulation
- Releases tight fascia and muscle restrictions
- Helps flush toxins and metabolic waste from tissue
- Reduces painful trigger points and knots
- Speeds recovery from training, work, or injury
